Sports Council Junior Gold Clubmark

Triangle F.C. School of Soccer based at Rugby Avenue, Coleraine joins nine other football clubs across
N. Ireland
to be awarded the prestigious "Junior Gold Clubmark Award" by the Sports Council of
N. Ireland. Parents, junior members, prospective members and the volunteer coaches, helpers and administrators
all know that the club
is committed to providing safe, quality sporting opportunities for young people.
Organised by the Sports Council for
Northern Ireland and launched in 1999, the Junior Clubmark Awards and
Gold Club Awards
are a quality accreditation scheme for junior clubs or junior sections of sports which provide
opportunities for young people. The criteria
for such recognition include the use of qualified coaches, appropriate
competition opportunities, encouraging volunteers and the implementation of child protection procedures and
policies. This is the second time the
Triangle have secured such recognition. In 1999 they were awarded Clubmark
status in the inaugural scheme and they are particularly pleased
to have secured the highest class of award, the
Gold Clubmark, in the
current round.
