Children have the right to be safe. All coaches should ensure that
this fundamental principle takes precedent over all other
considerations.
We at Triangle School of Soccer Club aim to
promote these principles and protect your child from physical,
emotional and sexual harm, and also from neglect at all times that
he/she is in our care.
These standards will be achieved through ensuring:-
Development of awareness of the issues which lead to children being harmed.
Safe recruiting procedures for volunteers/coaches.
Provision of training for volunteers/coaches (IFA Approved Courses)
Application of codes of behaviour for volunteers/coaches.
Application of codes of behaviour for children/young people.
Application of codes of behaviour for parents.
Application of good and safe working/playing practices.
Establishment of procedures for dealing with/recording of complaints/accidents.
The club have procedures relating specifically to bullying, away trips and use of photography.
Identification and maintenance of parental responsibility.
Availability of information.
Regular review and monitoring of Child Protection procedures by the management committee.
